
The Fox Theatre Institute will host a fundraising seminar on Monday, November 9 at the Fox Theatre. Lisa Duck Kennedy of the Georgia Center for nonprofits will present information on effective fundraising planning.
Lisa serves as Director of Stakeholder Relations for Bobby Dodd Institute, which provides employment services and training to people with disabilities. Prior to joining the Bobby Dodd Institute she served as development director for the Georgia Conservancy and as a consultant with Haas Consulting, an Atlanta-based fundraising consulting firm specializing in helping grassroots and mid-sized organizations develop and execute strategic fundraising plans.
Lisa's work in the nonprofit sector has included developing comprehensive fundraising plans, managing capital campaigns, closing major gifts, and directing special events. She has also drafted effective fundraising materials and case statements for a wide range of nonprofits, from social service and healthcare organizations to independent schools.
The meeting will begin at 10 am and end at 4 pm. The cost of registration is $50 for the first participant and $35 for each additional registration. Lunch is included with your registration.
