Georgia Presenters, a statewide booking consortium, provides a vehicle for collective programming where presenters, theatres, and communities can work together to increase cultural opportunities in their own communities and statewide. Georgia Presenters was established in 2008 as a result of the hard work and dedication of Georgia's presenting organizations, governmental agencies, private groups and devoted individuals who recognized the potential impact of collaboration among presenters.
The Fox Theatre Institute is proud to serve as the managing body for Georgia Presenters, providing communication and administrative assistance and human resources to support the organization.
Georgia Presenters membership is open to all arts, educational and governmental organizations that present a season of three or more professional companies/artists per year, have an official non-profit designation in accordance with section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code and present cultural programming as part of their organization's primary purpose. Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis, so all that are interested are encouraged to apply.
What are the benefits of membership?

Georgia Presenters hosts three annual meetings in the fall, winter and spring. The meetings are hosted in various locations throughout Georgia and are held following the Performing Arts Exchange (PAE) and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) conferences so that presenters can collectively build on the information gathered at these meetings. This ensures that Georgia Presenters make the most of their annual presenting budgets by forming blocks with other interested presenters.
Spring meetings allow presenters to fill gaps in their programming schedules by joining previously arranged blocks or by taking advantage of last minute tour openings. The spring meetings feature professional development components which focus on issues pertinent to all presenting organizations.

Georgia Presenters membership includes access to the on-line forum, which allows presenters to follow developing blocks and communicate with other presenters on a variety of related topics. The forum is a valuable resource for presenters with all levels of experience and venue size.

In addition to block booking meetings, membership in Georgia Presenters includes invitations to the Fox Theatre Institute’s professional development seminars which are held twice a year. The meetings focus on topics such as board development, fundraising, marketing, and restoration training.
