Theatre Advancement Program (TAP)

The Fox Theatre Institute’s TAP program promotes community development, economic revitalization and quality of life for Georgia cities by educating theatre professionals to effectively operate and manage historic theaters.

Theatre professionals participate in a specialized training program that focuses on organizational and restoration issues unique to historic theatres. In addition, FTI outlines individual plans for each theatre based on their unique strengths and challenges. FTI’s goal is to equip theatre professionals with a solid knowledge of business structure, increased awareness of preservation issues and solutions, and tools and resources necessary to operate at their highest possible level. Theatres that successfully complete the program are eligible to apply for project assistance funds from FTI.
